Why BYU-Hawaii Online

For the online classes you will need a webcam or digital camera, and access to a good computer with high speed internet.

You need to use up to date Mozilla Firefox for the application process and also for the classes.

Using webcams, students regularly send video-mails to their tutors as part of class assignments. Tutors send video-mails to students following assignments giving feedback and encouragement. Students also exchange video-mails with other students as part of class assignments.

The video-mail assignments and feedback create an environment where the students feel part of the BYU Hawaii Campus and part of a class of students who they will see and communicate with.
