Tuition Cost

The standard cost for LDS Church members in US and Canadian is $50 per credit. Non Church members pay double as the regular cost is heavily subsidized by donations from Church members.

However, tuition reduction scholarships are available based on factors including your country of residence and other individual circumstances.

International students pay $10, 20, or $35 per credit depending on the country where they live.

When you submit your application, we will automatically apply any discount scholarships based on your applications details. You will be notified of any tuition scholarships that you qualify for as soon as you are accepted into the program.

The objective of BYU Hawaii Online is to deliver a high quality university education at a low cost as a service to students particularly in developing areas.

If you are NOT a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, you will pay DOUBLE the normal amount in your country. This is because the cost of scholarships for classes is paid for by the contributions of Church members.

If you state that you are a member of the Church, we will verify this information with your local Church leaders.
